Synopsis

Tortured by nightmares that are frighteningly real, John Totersohn (Adrian Grenier, HBO's Entourage) seeks the help of a psychologist. As a result of his treatment, he decides to pursue a relationship with a woman for the first time in his life. Sarah Woods (Leila Arcieri, Daddy Day Care), an aspiring Broadway actress who rarely meets available men, is particularly vulnerable to John's good looks and unconventional charm. She ignores what some women would recognize as warning signals and lunges into the relationship. Despite the stresses of intimacy, John commits himself fully to Sarah and their love blooms. At first it seems as if the fragile young man has found the missing piece to his dysfunctional life, but it is not long before John becomes convinced that his doctor and his girlfriend are involved in a twisted conspiracy against him. His nightmares return, and John begins to lose his grip on what is real and what is fantasy. Is this the perfect love? Or a life-threatening disaster?
