 "What gutsy characters she found--from the Chinese women who filmed Mao as he traveled the countryside in the 1950's to the Afghan women who secretly recorded Taliban atrocities, to an African American who earned her way into the white-boys' club of cinematographers. Basé sur un livre d’Alexis Krasilovsky, notre film raconte les histoires de ces pionnières de la camera, leurs vies et leurs luttes en Afghanistan, en Australie, au Canada, en Chine, en France, en Allemagne, en Inde, en Iran, au Mexique, en Russie, au Sénégal, aux Etats-Unis et en tant d'autres pays, et nous tentons d'explorer leurs visions individuelles.
