Description
Presented by legendary band The Roots, and narrated by award-winning actress Kerry Washington, the special-edition dvd features an interview from one of TBC's mentors and inspirations, Questlove of The Roots, while the film shows you an intimate look at the bits and pieces of New Orleans culture such as 2nd line dancing and music, the life of the street musician, and takes the viewers to the band's old stomping grounds drastically altered after the storm.
Each band member offers his own perspective on the music and what New Orleans means to him and the U.S. and world at large. Their infectious humor and love for each other keeps the music alive and the storm and their hardships teach them a new wisdom with which to play their music.
