This DVD comes with a perpetual license for either Public Libraries or High School/Middle School classroom and library use. The DVD may be also be used for for any school-affiliated club or program with the exception of any fee-based film series or screenings open to the general public. An additional Community Screening License is required for any screening that is either open to the general public or that charges admission. The license is good for one DVD used within any public library system or single school district. It is not transferrable or "loanable" to other institutions.

Note to Educators: The film has been used in film studies, social studies, family, gender & sexuality studies, political science, history and religious studies, among others. GSAs, diversity programs, and film clubs have also used the film.

This film is not rated and contains mature themes appropriate for students learning about sexuality, family life and social issues. The storytellers in the film include children and young adults, though the majority of the stories unfolding are focus on mature themes such as the search for love and relationships, marriage, death and society's changing views on sexual orientation.
